What is Sahulat Account?
Sahulat Account is an investment account in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). It was introduced for small investors who for any reason cannot provide proof of income i.e., Housewives, Students, etc. The account opening process is quite simple and completely online. As mentioned earlier it doesn’t require proof of income, you need to provide your basic information to a Trading Rights Entitlement Certificate – TREC Holder.
The maximum amount to invest in the Sahulat account is 1 Million (10 lac) Pakistani rupees. The minimum amount to invest in Pakistan Stock Exchange is as low as 1 rupee.
Points to note before Opening Sahulat Account in PSX
- Sahulat account can be made without any joint account holder.
- It can be converted to normal account at any time.
- The net purchase of the investment in stocks must not exceed 1 Million rupees.
- The investor can enjoy trading easily with regular market.
- The investor cannot trade with any type of leverage trading.
- The trading can be done completely online from the comfort of your home.
